Intro to Yoga Series


A two-week class series to introduce the beginning foundations of the  practice of yoga. This is a perfect way for the beginning student to feel  comfortable and confident in exploring the classes and practice of yoga at the studio. 

In this series, you’ll explore the following and much more:

  • the aim and purpose of yoga and yoga asana (poses)

  • various breathing practices used in yoga class

  • some basic foundational poses and how to move in and out of them safely

  • ways to use props like blankets and blocks to facilitate greater stability and freedom

  • basic yoga philosophy and practices 

We invite you join us and explore this practice of awareness, rejuvenation, and well-being. All bodies and abilities are welcome.

Included in the course is 1 week of Free Yoga after the course is finished

Saturdays, 12:30-2pm: June 14th, June 21th
